I am taking a few pictures but they are hard to share. So only a small sample
One of the many lovely people who fed and or housed me so far and her house she was very proud of.
An Israeli woman who I helped on an an exposed section heading into the bay to join her partner.
A Turkish woman helping me by finding a boat to take me back to Kas.
I spent a few hours at the Myra, a Lycian site
At Antalya I thoroughly enjoyed a bigger place, went to a great museum, wandered the streets and rented a car.
Juvenile Lesser Grey Shrike
Spectacled Bulbul
I only drove a few kms the first day stopping at Side, another ancient site, where I got a few birds.
I kept looking as I drove along the coast but didn’t have much success other than an unknown goose.
My next major destination was Cappadocia, where i walked a lot, took many pictures, and wondered at the life of people, first the Hittites and then more obviously Byzantium Christians who carved homes, churches and monasteries out of these wondrous rocks.
