Hi Ken, this is Andy from Haida Gwaii. It’s exciting to see you’re still traveling the way you are and read about it. What an awful ordeal with the hematomas and I’m glad, as we all are, that you caught it at a crucial time. You talk about “not lying down” – I had a friend who literally did lie down after, unknowingly, suffering a hematoma from a bike fall. By lying down, the blood didn’t drain from his head. Never got up. I’m doing fine and still traveling – to SE Asia last March and New Zealand next year. I’m hoping to do another sea kayak trip next summer in Newfoundland.
